Solved: How do I start recording automatically in Microsoft Teams Meeting

Upon scheduling a meeting in Microsoft Teams, how can you have that Teams meeting immediately start to record when the meeting starts without physically being in the meeting?

Answer

Step 1: Navigate to the (. . .) menu in the participants pane.

Step 2: Click on the Manage permissions option to open the Meeting Options page.

Step 3: Toggle on the Record automatically option to enable it.
