Solved: How to fix lock screen displaying false alarm notification on Nothing Phone 2

The second version of the Nothing Phone brings significant improvements, but it isn’t without its share of bugs. Among them, a particularly frustrating issue has surfaced for some users: a false alarm notification persistently appearing on the lock screen.

Despite users confirming the absence of any set alarms, their devices consistently display a notification indicating an upcoming alarm. Strangely, this phantom alarm is consistently set for 2 minutes later than the current time, as evidenced by the attached screenshot.

This problem was initially observed with Nothing OS 2.0.3 and continues in version 2.0.4. However, it’s worth noting that only a limited number of users have reported this issue, suggesting it may not be widespread. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that affected users promptly submit bug reports to alert the OEM to this issue, facilitating a swift resolution.
