Microsoft is providing a new service that lets you easily create a translated copy of a selected file or a set of files in a SharePoint document library. You can translate a file while preserving the original format and structure of the file. This feature supports a large number of languages and file types either manually or automatically by creating a rule.

When this will happen
Standard Release: Microsoft will begin rolling out early January 2024 and expect to complete by late January 2024.
How this will affect your organization
Users will be able to make translated copies of library documents.
To start using document translation, visit the Syntex set up page in the Microsoft Admin Center and connect your Azure subscription to enable Pay-as-you-go billing. Then, configure the sites in which you would like to have document translation available. By default, it is on for all sites.
