Black Myth Wukong offers a vast and intricate world filled with hidden treasures and secret areas. One such gem is the Purple Cloud Mountain, home to the elusive Weaver’s Needle Vessel. To reach this mystical location and claim your prize, you must first navigate through the main levels and defeat the formidable Venom Daoist twice.
Your journey begins at the Pool of Shattered Jade Shrine in Chapter 4’s Webbed Hollow. Follow these steps to locate the shrine:
- Start from the Upper Hollow Shrine and head northwest
- Climb the stairs, guided by the illuminated torches
- Follow the wooden path and drop down twice
- Traverse the unlit path lined with spider sacs, keeping to your left
- Spot the torches and turn left at the fork
- Ascend the staircases past the egg sacs
- Find the Pool of Shattered Jade Shrine next to the torches
Defeat Venom Daoist here by striking the lone egg sac in the clearing to the right of the shrine. Your next encounter will be at the Court of Illumination in the Temple of Yellow Flowers. From the shrine, backtrack through the temple entrance, keeping to your left. Navigate the stairs and slopes, ultimately leading you to the Venom Daoist’s lair.
Having bested Venom Daoist twice, interact with the wall behind him to enter the mesmerizing Purple Cloud Mountain. Follow the path, crossing wooden bridges and passing through temple archways to uncover the Valley of Blooms and Petalfall Hamlet shrines.
To reach the Cloudnest Peak Shrine and confront Duskveil, the guardian of the Weaver’s Needle Vessel:
- Proceed straight ahead from the Petalfall Hamlet Shrine
- Ascend the stairs and pass through the stone entrance
- Turn left and follow the path through the trees
- Veer right just before the hut and keep to your right past the huts
- Drop down the ledge and keep to your left to discover the Cloudnest Peak Shrine
- Climb the stairs beside the shrine to encounter Duskveil
Emerge victorious against Duskveil, and the coveted Weaver’s Needle Vessel shall be yours. Embrace the challenges that lie ahead, for the rewards are well worth the effort. Happy exploring, brave adventurer!
