How to Enable, Install, Change, Choose Firefox Alpenglow Theme

Mozilla added a colorful default theme called Alpenglow to Firefox 81 which supports Windows 10 light and dark app mode. Firefox Alpenglow and is a mix of purple, pink, and black gradients, brings color to Firefox Windows, menus, and buttons.

There are three ways to enable the Firefox Alpenglow theme in Firefox start from 81, here’s how.

Prerequisite

• Install or update Mozilla Firefox to the latest version.

Customize UI menu

Step 1: Open Firefox.

Step 2: Click on the menu button which is a three-lined icon located in the upper right corner.

Step 3: Choose Customize.

Step 4: Click the Themes button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5: Choose Firefox Alpenglow from the Theme dropdown box.

Step 6: Click the Done button.

Step 1: Open Firefox.

Step 2: Click on the menu button which is a three-lined icon located at the upper right corner.

Step 3: Choose Add-ons.

Step 4: Choose the Themes option at the sidebar.

Step 5: Scroll down to locate the Firefox Alpenglow theme, click the Enable button.

Step 1: Open Firefox.

Step 2: Browse to the Firefox Alpenglow theme add-on page.

Step 3: Click the Install Theme button.

Step 4: Click the Add button to install Firefox Radiance (the themes original name)

Step 5: Click the Okay, Got It button.
