How to do Research Analysis Using Deep Research

  1. Sign up on ChatGPT. Log in to your account. Pro users get 100 deep research tasks per month, while Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Free users will gain access later, according to OpenAI.
  2. Choose o3-mini model from the top menu.
  3. Turn on Deep research option near the prompt box.
  4. Enter your prompt. ChatGPT will search the web (or provided sources) and compile a detailed answer.
    Example Prompt: 
    Analyze the impact of AI-generated content on traditional media. Provide recent (2023-2024) examples where AI-generated news, images, or videos sparked controversy or changed media consumption. Examine industry reports, case studies, and expert opinions. Compare global policies and regulations. Include insights from media executives, journalists, and AI ethicists on the future of journalism in an AI-driven world.
  5. Depending on complexity, it takes 5 to 30 minutes to generate a thorough, well-researched report.
