How to Start Janice’s Advice Quest
To kick things off, you need to finish a quest called Clues Left by Adriana. This quest is pretty straightforward. Here’s what you do:
- Check Your Adventure Codex: After finishing all quests in Chapter 1, you’ll see Clues Left by Adriana.
- Go to Spiral Cliff: Head to Windhill Shores. You’ll find the cliff marked on your map.
- Enter the Lighthouse: Use the Piton to get into the lighthouse. You’ll find it as you climb the cliff. Use your grapple gun to move higher.
- Defeat the Arkeum Legion: Once inside, battle the enemies.
- Search for Key Items: Look for two important items: the Faded Journal and Worn Research Paper.
Janice’s Advice Quest Steps
Now that you have those items, it’s time to tackle the Janice’s Advice quest.
- Investigate the Wrought Iron Chest: Head upstairs after examining the two items. You’ll get a new task to check out the Wrought Iron Chest.
- Look at the Ornate Book: After that, find the Ornate Book. It’s on the left side of the chest, sitting on a table.
- Interact with the Book: Press the F key to check it out. Follow the instructions on the left and bottom of your screen for clues.
- Find the Clue: Center the book so the flower is facing you. Interact with the flower. This will open a secret compartment.
- Grab the Key: Pick up the key inside. Now, use it to unlock the Wrought Iron Chest and see what’s inside to finish the quest.

Once you complete the quest, you’ll earn some great rewards:
- EXP: 1,040
- Sollant: 1,241
- Quality Weapon Growthstone: x4
