In Stalker 2, armor is everything. The Diamond Exoskeleton Suit stands out as the best armor in the game. It’s not just about looking cool; it offers incredible protection and utility. I remember my first encounter with this suit—it felt like finding a hidden treasure in a vast wasteland.
- You can reach Prypiat sooner than you think. After you progress through the Lesser Zone and clear some of the Garbage, you can head straight to Prypiat. Trust me, this place is loaded with the best weapons and armor.
- Once you arrive in Prypiat, head to the Palace of Culture. It’s your main base here. You’ll notice a bed and a technician ready to help you. From there, make your way to Sunny Kindergarten.
- Target the Northeast Building: As you approach, aim for the far left building in the courtyard. This is where things get intense—enemies are lurking everywhere.
- Clear Out Enemies: Be careful! You might want to take out some foes before heading inside. If they’re upstairs, don’t hesitate to go up and check.
- Search for the Suit: Inside, look for Room F. In the corner, on some boxes, you’ll find the Diamond Exoskeleton Suit waiting for you.
- If it’s not there on your first try, don’t panic! It’s not locked behind story progress. Just head back to the Palace of Culture, take a nap, and return. I had to do this myself—it wasn’t there initially, but after resting, it appeared like magic.
When exploring this area, be aware of emissions. They can catch you off guard. My first visit was chaotic; an emission hit right when I was searching for the suit!
Once you have it in your inventory, you’ll see why it’s worth it:
- Heavy Armor: Weighs about 9.5 kilos but offers fantastic protection.
- Artifact Slots: Comes with five slots for artifacts—perfect for enhancing your survivability.
- Increased Carrying Capacity: It allows an extra maximum weight of 17.6 kilos compared to other suits like the C D suit.
I swapped my C D suit for this beauty and noticed an immediate difference in performance.
You can upgrade your Diamond Exoskeleton at the technician’s station. Here’s what I did:
- Radiation Protection: Boosted my radiation resistance significantly.
- Increased Carrying Capacity: Added a 10% increase.
- Sprinting Ability: Now I can sprint while wearing this armor!
After all upgrades, my suit weighs only 7.5 kilos and can carry an impressive 25.6 kilos more.
The Diamond Exoskeleton Suit is truly a game-changer in Stalker 2. With its robust protection and upgrade potential, it makes surviving in this harsh world much easier. My advice? Go for it! You won’t regret snagging this armor.
