Are you ready to seize control and conquer the realm in the Unicorn Overlord demo? Here’s how you can recruit all the characters:
Automatic Recruitment
At the start, you’ll automatically have Alain, Chloe, Hodrick, Josef, and Lex on your team. As you progress through the main story mission “Call to Action,” you’ll gain Clive, Travis, and Aubin. Additionally, early on, you’ll encounter Veronica.
By completing the main quest “The Priestess, Abducted” around level eight, you’ll recruit Fran, Kitra, and Miriam. Remember, once this quest is finished, the demo concludes.
Side Quest Recruitment
- Archer Rolf: Journey to the southwest of Fort Soligie, on an island peninsula, and complete the side quest “Solitary Resistance” by speaking to Rolf.
- Gladiator Bruno: Head south of Coquillage Town and embark on the side mission “As the Tricorns Ride” to recruit Bruno upon completion.
- Feathersword Ochlys: Encounter Ochlys during your journey and trade Divine Shards for items. Offer her 30 Divine Shards, and she’ll join your party.
- Cleric Sharon: Finish the side mission “Winged Knight” located east of Thulust Harbor to permanently add Sharon to your ranks.
- Witch Yahna: Venture to the swampy area south of Rondmort Church and complete the side mission “The Ravaged Swamp” to recruit Yahna.
- Warrior Mordon: In the quest “The Battle for Barbatimo” within the Walled City of Barbatimo, spare Mordon’s life to recruit him.
- Sellsword Berenice: Near Fort Colmarre, prove your strength by defeating Berenice in the side quest “The Mercenary’s Trial” to recruit her.
- Knight Adel: Automatically join when starting the side mission “Province of Famine” around Fort Gromond and Facon Town.
- Gryphon Knight Fran: Available during the same mission as Adel until its completion. She temporarily leaves but returns during “The Priestess, Abducted” at level eight.
- Shaman Selvie: Aid Selvie with her ghost issues southeast of Fort Lonteria to start the side quest “Sigils of the Ancients” and recruit her.
- Warrior Mille: During “Uprooting the Rock Rats,” Mille joins temporarily.
- Warrior Nina: Also in “Uprooting the Rock Rats,” Nina becomes a permanent member.
- Wizard Auch: North of Fort Thessalon, complete the side mission “Self-Effacing Sorcerer” and forgive Auch to recruit him.
- Swordfighter Melisandre: Complete “Blade of House Meillet” past the gate north of Walled City of Eucuit to recruit Melisandre and Colm.
- Radiant Knight Monica: Finish “The Unyielding Shield” north and west of Walled City of Eucuit to recruit Monica.
- Cleric Tatiana: Complete “The Tormented Helm” located in the northern-most part of the demo’s map.
By following these steps, you’ll recruit every available character in the Unicorn Overlord demo and pave your path to victory!
