How to Manage and Control Your Inventory in Stalker 2?

In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, managing your inventory is key. It’s not just about having space for loot; it’s about keeping your weight down. Carrying too much can drain your stamina, making it tough to survive in the Zone. Let’s dive into some effective strategies for managing your inventory.

How to Manage and Control Your Inventory in Stalker 2?

Get Started in Zissa

Once you reach Zissa, you unlock the ability to manage your inventory efficiently. You’ll encounter tons of loot, and if you’re not careful, you’ll end up overburdened. The more items you carry, the slower your stamina regenerates.

Use Your Private Box

Head over to the trader named Hamster in Zissa. There’s a cozy little building where you can find a bed and a private box—your personal stash. This box is crucial for offloading excess items.

I keep my stash stocked with essentials like food, medkits, and ammo. For example, I might have three pieces of bread, two sausages, and a handful of drinks. I also stash extra medkits and anti-radiation drugs because they’re lifesavers.

Carry Just Enough

When I venture out, I only take what I need. Too much stuff weighs me down. I usually carry a few medkits—three is my sweet spot—while keeping the rest in my stash. If I find more anti-radiation drugs, I store them away for later.

Ammo management is also important. If I’m not using a weapon, its ammo goes into the stash. This keeps my inventory light and ready for action.

Deal with Broken Gear

What about broken weapons? Here’s my trick: drop them off in a corner of your base or wherever you are. If a weapon has a red shield icon, it’s broken and can’t be sold. Unload them by pressing G and let them go!

You can repair some weapons later if you want to keep them, but I prefer to ditch the junk.

Sell Unwanted Items

Now, let’s talk about those PDAs and other items you find. Most of them are just clutter unless they have a special icon indicating they’re quest-related. Sell everything else! Hamster will buy your unwanted gear, giving you some cash for your next adventure.

The Perfect Spot for Inventory Management

Zissa is an ideal location for inventory management because Hamster is right there for trading. You can buy useful items like gas masks or weapon attachments while managing your stash all in one place.

In Stalker 2, keeping your inventory organized can make all the difference between life and death in the Zone. Stash what you don’t need, carry just enough to survive, and sell off the rest. With these tips, you’re set to tackle any challenge that comes your way!
