This is a friendly reminder that Microsoft is retiring Exchange Web Services (EWS) in Exchange Online. Teams devices use EWS for calendar functionality, and Teams device applications have moved to a supported replacement since February 2026. Devices running an app version older than the minimum supported version released in February 2026 may lose calendar functionality starting October 2026.
This notice applies to devices in the following categories that remain under active certification and support: Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Microsoft Teams phones, and Microsoft Teams panels.
We recommend reviewing your device inventory now and updating any devices below the minimum app version before October 2026 to avoid disruption.
