Frostpunk 2, the sequel to the acclaimed survival city builder game Frostpunk, is slated for release in 2024. The creators, 11 bit studios, who are also known for The Thaumaturge, are initiating the launch with a beta testing phase in April.
The beta testing for Frostpunk 2 commences on April 15 at 12pm CT, and it will continue for a duration of one week, concluding on April 22.
Participation in the Frostpunk 2 beta is exclusive. To gain access, players are required to purchase the Deluxe Edition of Frostpunk 2. This week, the Deluxe Edition is available at a discounted price of $67 USD, a reduction from the usual price of $75 USD. This offer is valid until April 26, which is after the beta testing period.
The Deluxe Edition of Frostpunk 2 offers more than just beta access. It includes three DLCs that will be available post-launch, early access to the story mode, a unique item, a digital novella, and a digital artbook and soundtrack. For ardent fans of Frostpunk, the Deluxe Edition provides a wealth of additional content that justifies the cost. The Standard Edition, on the other hand, includes only the base game.
