I’m excited to share how to file for a Fortnite refund related to the FTC settlement. Let’s jump right in!
- First, go to the FTC refund page. This site has all the info you need. It tells you what documents and details are required.
- Did you get an email from the FTC about your refund? If yes, select “Yes” and hit “Next.” If not, click “No” and follow the next steps.
- On the next screen, you’ll need your claim ID from that email. Type it in, fill out the captcha, and click “Next.”
- If you don’t have a claim ID, click on the link to find your Epic Games account ID. To do this, log into the Epic Games website. Go to your profile and select “Account.” The Epic ID is right there—copy it!
- Head back to the FTC refund page and paste your Epic ID in the required field. Make sure you enter it correctly—twice! Then fill out the captcha again and click “Next.”
- If you see a message saying you’re not eligible, it might be because you’re outside the U.S. If you’re in the U.S. and still get this message, you might not qualify either. Use the email provided on the page to reach out for help.
- If you’re eligible, you’ll move on to a new screen asking for details about your purchases during the refund period. Just follow the prompts until you get final confirmation.
I hope this guide helps you navigate the refund process!
