How Can You Boost iPhone Battery Life in iOS 18?

Are you like me, constantly checking your battery percentage? Feels like the phone just can’t keep up, right? It’s frustrating when the battery drains faster than you can find a charger. Don’t worry; I’ve been there. Let’s fix it. I’m going to share easy tips that make a big difference.

How Can You Boost iPhone Battery Life in iOS 18?

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Method 1: Manage Background Apps

Apps run in the background. Think of them like guests who never leave your house—they eat up your battery.

Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and turn it off for all apps, or only the ones you don’t need refreshing constantly.

Method 2: Adjust Display Settings

The brighter your screen, the faster your battery fades. You wouldn’t leave the lights on in an empty room, would you?

Set Auto-Lock to 30 seconds by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock.

Method 3: Enable Low Power Mode

When your battery dips, hit the low power button like you’re flipping on a generator during a power outage.

Go to Settings > Battery > toggle on Low Power Mode.

Method 4: Limit Location Services

Do you need every app knowing where you are all the time? Your iPhone is like a detective, tracking everything.

In Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, turn off location for apps that don’t need it.

Method 5: Turn Off Automatic Updates

No need for your apps to update themselves when you’re not even using them.

Go to Settings > App Store > toggle off App Updates.

Method 6: Limit Charging to 80%

Keeping your phone fully charged all the time wears down the battery over time.

Enable Optimized Battery Charging in Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging. It pauses charging at 80% until you really need the extra boost.

Method 7: Enable Low Data Mode

Why waste data—and battery—on things you don’t use? It’s like leaving a faucet running.

Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > turn on Low Data Mode.

Same thing for Wi-Fi:

In Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the “i” next to your network and toggle Low Data Mode.

These steps will keep your phone from draining when you need it most. You won’t be hunting for an outlet by noon.

Tried these tips? Bet you’ll notice a difference by tomorrow!
