How Can You Add Scope Attachment to Weapon in Stalker 2?

When I got to the first big settlement, I was excited to upgrade my gear. You can repair guns and grab attachments like scopes. But here’s the kicker: it’s not just about finding a scope and slapping it on. There’s a bit more to it.

How Can You Add Scope Attachment to Weapon in Stalker 2?

Step 1: Find Lens

First things first, you need to chat with Lens, the technician. When you arrive at Zissa, look for a guy hanging out by a car near the bar where Warlock is. He’ll set you on the path to meet Lens. He’s the one who can help you with repairs and upgrades.

Step 2: Scope Mounts

Once you’re talking to Lens, head over to the upgrade screen to add a scope, your weapon needs a scope mount. You’ll see a note saying it allows attaching various scopes. If your gun doesn’t have this mount, you’re out of luck.

Step 3: Choose the Right Scope

Now that you’ve got your mount sorted, it’s time for the scope. Check your inventory for compatible scopes. For example, I found an open Kimer sight that fits my AKM 74U perfectly. Make sure your scope matches your gun!

Step 4: Attach Your Scope

Ready to equip that scope? Step outside where you can actually use your gun. On PC, hold down T to bring up the attachment menu. If you’re on console, it might be something like D-pad—just check your controls. Hover over your scope and click! It’ll snap right on there.

Step 5: Switch Back to Iron Sights

Want to go back to iron sights? Just hold T again, click on the scope, and let go. You’re back to basics in no time.

So there you have it! To add scopes in Stalker 2: talk to Lens, get that mount, choose a compatible scope, and attach it with ease. It’s straightforward once you know the steps.
