What’s the Trick to Unlocking Every Duck in Placid Plastic Duck Simulator?

The Quack in the Ice DLC for Placid Plastic Duck Simulator introduces three unique ducks to your collection. Here’s how to find and unlock each one:

Lumber Duck

Lumber Duck spawns after the Zamboni (the icy area’s car) leaves the garage for the second time. No special tricks or waiting required, just patience for the Zamboni cycle.

Ski Duck

Steps to Unlock

1. Wait for a woodpecker to peck at the tree. This might take a few visits.
2. Once it falls, you’ll unlock an achievement for the Ski Duck falling down.
3. To free it from the ice, turn the pool into a hot tub, light the circular fireplace near where ducks drop from the lift. A fire-starting duck will activate it, melting the ice and unlocking another achievement.

Sanbeduck (St. Bernard Duck)

This upside-down dog duck shows up on the lift after a duck falls off the mountain.

Triggering Event

1. Overcrowd the lift ramp with more than three ducks.
2. If a duck doesn’t make it into the lift before the door closes, it will fall off, prompting St. Bernard to rescue it on the next lift cycle.
3. Sometimes, you’ll see this duck exit the pool briefly before heading back to save more ducks!
