Identify battery draining Apps
Go to Settings app icon and click on ‘Battery’ to identify the apps which are making most use of battery. Once you know the apps responsible for sucking on your batter you can cut down its usage or even look for replacement.
Toggling iCloud Keychain
If you wish to prevent your device from continuously polling apps for present convent you can simple turn it off completely. You may also limit the app that allows access to such network functionality. Click on ‘Settings’ and then on ‘General Background App Refresh’.
Location Services
You can manage this by going to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and you will be able to identify the apps which have an access to your device’s location. You may toggle or disable the option for every individual app you want to manage.
Old Method Hard Reboot
Perform hard reboot so that it starts to function to its optimum once again.
Screen Brightness
If iOS is managing brightness for you then turn it off and adjust the brightness level manually. Go to Settings > Display > Brightness and switch off the Auto brightness option
Use Low power Mode
Low power Mode basic design includes limiting functions such as network connectivity and also shutting down any other features which are high power consuming and certainly not critical for the system functioning.
Switch Off Raise To Wake
Raise To Wake is the new feature introduced by Apple which brings the iPhone display to life once it has detected to be moved from its rest flat position in to a position where it may be under use. Reset All Settings
This will reset all the settings present on the device but user data will be intact. Click on Settings > Reset all Settings under the ‘General’ option.
Clean install iOS 10
If you happen to have a defective or problematic iOS 10 version installed on your device then this option will be a good solution for you instead of an over-the-air-update.
Use Night Shift
Some people have reported success with the Night shift. Enable Night Shift under Settings app icon, click on Display and Brightness and then enable Night shift.
