In FortiManager, there is a list of features that are able to use the Map View, which is on Device Manager > SD-WAN Monitor >AP Monitor and VPN Monitor.

Step 1: Make sure to have the correct compatibility between the FortiGate and FortiManager.

Step 2: FortiManager should have an internet access.

Step 3: DNS should be working and able to resolves below domain:

> mapserver-subca2001.fortinet.com

Step 4: Mapserver test should be successful:

# diagnose system mapserver test

Mapserver test should be successful

Step 5: Should contain signed Fortinet SUBCA, CA Certificate in FortiManager.

If web proxy is configured, make sure it is the same for step 2 and 3.

If the issue still persists kindly share the execute tac report together with all output from the steps for TAC to troubleshoot further.
