Solved: How to download big files to another folder in Google drive

Question

When Google Drive, if clicking on Download option, the files will be downloaded to local computer. I want to download these file directly to anther different foler. How to do it?

Solution

Execute the follow steps to change the target download directory:

Step 1: On your computer, open Chrome.

Step 2: At the top right, click More More and then Settings.

Step 3: At the bottom, click Advanced.

Step 4: Under the Downloads section, adjust your download settings:

  • To change the default download location, click Change and select where you’d like your files to be saved.
  • If you’d rather choose a specific location for each download, check the box next to Ask where to save each file before downloading
