Solution 1: Restoring R5APEX.exe from Antivirus
For AVG
Step 1: Open the AVG app.
Step 2: Go to Menu > Quarantine tab.
Step 3: Click on R5APEX.exe.
Step 4: Click on the drop-down tab by the yellow delete button.
Step 5: Click on Restore and add exception.
For Avast
Step 1: Open Avast.
Step 2: Go to the Protection tab > Virus Chest.
Step 3: Locate the R5Apex.exe, select it and next to the delete button, there should be a More drop down menu.
Step 4: Click on Restore and add Exception option.
For Windows Defender
Step 1: Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Step 2: Type ms-settings:windowsdefender
and press Enter to open the Windows Defender window.
Step 3: Click on Virus & threat protection.
Step 4: Click on the Protection history link.
Step 5: Scroll down to the Quarantined threats menu to locate the R5Apex.exe file.

Step 1: Open Origin.

Step 1: Go to the location where you install Apex Legends. The default location is: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Apex\

Step 3: Click on the Compatibility tab.
Step 4: Check Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows 7 from the list of OS versions.
Step 5: Click the Apply button to save the changes.

Solution 5: Repair Easy Cheat Engine
Step 1: Go to the location where you install Apex Legends. The default location is: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Apex\
Step 2: Double-click on the EasyAntiCheat folder.
Step 3: Right-click on EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and choose Run as Administrator from the context menu. If UAC (User Account Control) prompted, click Yes to grant admin access.
Step 4: Click on Repair Service, and confirm your choice. Wait until the Easy Anti Cheat repair service to complete.
Step 5: Click on Finish.
Solution 6: Install Windows Update (KB3173424 and KB3172614)
Step 1: Go to Microsoft Update Catalog to download KB3173424 and KB3172614.
Step 2: Execute the downloaded .msu installer with Run as Administrator option and follow the on-screen instruction to install the KB3173424 and KB3172614 update.
Step 3: Restart your PC.
