When will this happen
The update policies already exist. This guide adds explicit recommendations and instructions on how to leverage available policies in the most productive way for your organization whether you manage an array of single-user devices, multi-user devices, education devices, kiosks and billboards, factory machines, or Microsoft Teams Room devices.
How does it affect me
Given that no organization is the same, you need to know and implement the best practices that are most beneficial to you. While the default policy set is great, you can add, remove, or reconfigure policies for your highest productivity and protection. You do not need all 70 update policies!
Preperations
Start with the default set of update policies. Based on the reference industry characteristics and needs, add or reconfigure recommended policies that meet the unique requirements for your organization and your desired end user experience.
