MC346253: Increased Scale and Throughput for Graph Connectors

Microsoft Graph connectors enable your organization to index third-party content in Microsoft Search. The existing connection limit is 700,000. Microsoft is releasing an update to improve scale and throughput for Graph Connectors. The update will allow you to index up to 5M items in a single connection. This platform upgrade will also enable you to index content at a higher throughput of twenty-five documents per second.

MC346253: Increased Scale and Throughput for Graph Connectors

Affected Workload

  • Microsoft 365 suite

When this will happen

We are rolling out this update to worldwide tenants in phases in late March.

Note: If you have created a Graph Connection in your tenant, you will be automatically enrolled in the first phase of the release.

How this will affect your organization

You may configure the Graph connectors from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Refer our documentation page to learn more about the setup process.

All new connections will get this feature upgrade. If you are already indexing Graph Connectors, create a new connection to index up to 5M items.
