Summary
- Windows 365 Monitor Cloud PCs will start honoring existing Microsoft Intune scope tags in supported monitoring views.
- Scoped administrators will only see user, device, and report data within their assigned administrative scope.
- Aggregate dashboards may still show some broader trend data, but user
- and device-specific details remain scope-limited.
- Existing scope-tag assignments are applied automatically; no tenant configuration change is required to enable this behavior.

Beginning November 17, 2026, Microsoft will update Windows 365 Monitor Cloud PCs so existing Microsoft Intune scope-tag assignments apply to supported monitoring views. This change aligns monitoring visibility with your organization’s existing administrative assignments, helping scoped administrators focus on the users, devices, and resources they’re responsible for managing.
Rollout schedule

Impact on your organization
Who is affected
Organizations that use Microsoft Intune scope tags for administrators who access Windows 365 Monitor Cloud PCs
This change does not affect the Cloud PC experience for users.
What will happen
In supported Cloud PC monitoring experiences:
- User and devices results will include only users and devices within the administrator’s assigned scope.
- Applicable view data tables will include only records associated with devices within the administrator’s assigned scope.
- Supported filters and data series will align with the administrator’s assigned scope. Administrators will continue to see reports and visualizations, but the information shown will reflect what they’re authorized to access.
- Some aggregate visualizations may show overall trends that include devices outside the administrator’s assigned scope. However, user-specific and device-specific information will always be limited to the administrator’s assigned scope.
- Existing scope-tag assignments will be applied automatically.
