Microsoft is returning Application Virtualization (App-V) server to extended support (as part of the Fixed Lifecycle policy) for an additional three years, through October 9, 2029. This extension gives your organization additional time to continue operating your existing App-V server deployments while evaluating a longer-term application delivery strategy. The long-term plan is to adopt Azure Virtual Desktop App Attach and migrate to the modern Windows app packaging format, MSIX.
