How to view FortiMail Devices under FortiManager’s Device Manager GUI Pane

This article describes how to view the FortiMails in FortiManager’s Device Manager GUI Pane.

Solution

Step 1: When configuring FortiMail to use FortiManager as a local FDN, it is possible to see the FortiMail under Unauthorized Devices in FortiManager.

Step 2: Proceed to authorize the FortiMail into FortiManager.

Step 3: After successful authorization, it is not possible to see the FortiMail in the Device Manager GUI but the device is shown in the CLI.

Step 4: To view the FortiMail in FortiManager’s Device Manager GUI, enable the FortiAnalyzer feature on FortiManager under System Settings -> Dashboard -> System Information.

Step 5: When the FortiManager comes back online, the FortiMail will then be visible on FortiManager’s Device Manager GUI Pane.
