The Invites App is a standalone app for creating custom invitations, sharing them with a group, and RSVPing. While similar event invitation apps exist, they don’t offer this level of integration with Apple’s ecosystem.
- The Invites app is free to download from the App Store for all iPhone models running iOS 18 or later. There’s also a web version.
- Tap the Create Event button or the + button to get started.
- Tap Event Title, enter a name, and choose from four fonts.
- Add a background by choosing from your photo library, the app’s gallery, or generating one with Apple Intelligence via the Playground button.
- Set the date, time, and location by tapping Date and Time. Enable Include End Time if needed. Select Done when finished.
- Next, set the location by selecting your current location or searching for a venue in the Search Locations field.
- In the Hosted by [Your Name] box, select Add a description and type what you’d like your guests to know in the Event Description field. Use Apple Intelligence’s Writing Tools for assistance. Select Done to exit the writing tools, then tap Done again to save the event details.
- You can also attach an Apple Music playlist for your guests to listen to when they receive the invite. Tap Add Playlist to choose or create one.
- Preview the invitation by tapping Preview to see what your friends will see. Make sure everything looks good, then tap Next.
- To send the invite to multiple people, choose the Invite with Public Link option. For a private gathering, tap Choose a Guest under Invite Individuals and select the people you want to invite.
- When people respond, they will appear in the Guest List section.
