Want to Disable iPhone Text Vibrations? Here’s the Easy Way!
Tired of your iPhone buzzing every time you get a text? Let’s fix that. Here’s a quick guide to stop the vibrations without overcomplicating things.
- Locate the Settings app on your iPhone and tap it.
- Scroll down and find Notifications. Tap it.
- Look for the Messages app in the list of apps under Notifications and tap it.
- Inside the Messages settings, find and tap Sounds.
- At the top, you’ll see an option labeled Haptic. This controls vibration feedback.
- Switch it to None.
- Return to the main Settings menu. Scroll down and select Sounds & Haptics.
- Under this section, locate Text Tone and tap it.
- At the top, set the Haptic option to None.
Your iPhone will no longer vibrate when you receive or send text messages. However, your alert tone for texts will still play unless you mute it separately.
If you want complete silence, consider setting your text tone to None as well. You can always reverse these changes by following the same steps and re-enabling haptics.
