How to Resolve Traffic Shaper Statistics on GUI

This article describes how to check traffic shaper statistics on GUI.

Scope

FortiGate v7.0+, v7.2+, v7.4+

Solution

The below example assumes that there is already a Traffic Shaper configured and used on the Firewall Policy or Traffic Shaping Policy: Traffic shaping

Add Widget on the Dashboard:

Step 1: Go to Dashboard > Network > Add Widget.

Go to Dashboard > Network > Add Widget.

Step 2: Search for ‘destination‘ and select/add ‘FortiView Traffic Shaping‘. Then ‘Add Widget’.

Add Monitor on FortiView:

Step 1: Go to Dashboard.

Step 2: Select the ‘+‘ sign on FortiView then ‘Add Monitor‘.

Step 3: Search for ‘destination’ and select/add ‘FortiView Traffic Shaping’. Then ‘Add Widget‘.
