Here’s the steps for how to report any misleading business listing information you found on Google Maps.
Step 1: Locate and select the business listing in Google Maps.
Step 2: Click Suggest an Edit button.

Step 3: Select Remove this place to notify Google the listing should be removed from Google Maps due to misleading information. You’ll be prompted to login before you can continue if you’re not signed into Google account.

Step 4 (Optional): Provide a reason for the removal to tell Google why the business should be removed. You can select Doesn’t exist, Spam, fake or offensive.

Step 5 (Optional): Add a photo of the location for Google to verify the business doesn’t exist.
Step 6: Click Send button to send report. Google will notify you via email.
Suggest an edit function can be used for other situation such as business has moved or closed, change its name, update its hours, or provide a new website address.
