In Black Myth Wukong, certain armor pieces, like the Venomous Armguard, require a specific approach to obtain. This unique item only drops when you defeat the Venom Daoist boss in a particular manner.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Navigate to Webbed Hollow > Pool of Shattered Jade in Chapter 4 Webbed Hollow.
- Locate the shrine and head to the right side, passing the hanging spider sacs.
- Find the Venom Daoist’s lair and initiate the fight by striking the large central sac.
To successfully acquire the Venomous Armguard, you must break four of the Venom Daoist’s legs during the battle. Attacking the boss head-on will only inflict normal damage and won’t yield the desired drop. Instead, follow these steps:
- Position yourself behind the boss and focus your attacks on the bulbous part of its body.
- Use the Immobilize ability to stun the boss, then quickly strike its back.
- Repeat this process while evading the boss’s front-facing attacks.
After several successful strikes, a cutscene will trigger, showing four of the boss’s arms falling off. This signifies that you’ve successfully obtained the Venomous Armguard.
By mastering this specific strategy, you’ll triumphantly add the Venomous Armguard to your collection in Black Myth Wukong.
