Fields of Mistria features a museum that you can contribute to by donating various artifacts and items. If you’re eager to complete the collection, here’s what you need to know about finding Tidestone:
Unlock the Mines
To access Tidestone, you must first unlock the Mines in Fields of Mistria. Increase the town’s Renown level until you reach the Stone level by completing quests, participating in events, and developing your farm.
Explore the Tide Caverns
Tidestone is exclusively found in the Tide Caverns section of the Mines, spanning floors 21 to 40. Keep an eye out for Dig Spots and excavate them to potentially uncover Tidestone.
Utilize the Stoneturner Perk
If you have the Stoneturner perk, breaking rocks with your pickaxe might also yield Tidestone or similar artifacts. However, this is subject to RNG, so there’s no guarantee.
Be Persistent
Finding Tidestone may require patience and dedication. Spend time in the Tide Caverns, breaking rocks and digging up Dig Spots until you find it. RNG plays a significant role, so don’t get discouraged if it takes a while.
Pro Tip: Aim to collect at least two Tidestones. Donate one to the museum and save the other for a future sidequest with Lucy that will unlock as you progress through the game. You can sell any additional Tidestones you find.
Remember, unlocking the Mines is crucial to your Tidestone hunt. Focus on increasing the town’s Renown level by actively engaging with the community and advancing your farm. With persistence and a bit of luck, you’ll soon have Tidestone in your possession, bringing you one step closer to completing the museum collection in Fields of Mistria.
