How to Fix Unable to complete Microsoft Entra ID Administrative Unit integration with ‘Something wrong, try again later’

This article describes the issue where FortiCASB is unable to complete the Microsoft Entra ID Administrative Unit integration with the error ‘Something wrong, try again later’.

Solution

FortiCASB provides the option to group users within the same management scope through the Administrative Unit feature.

When trying to complete the integration, the error ‘Something wrong, try again later’ may be prompted.

When trying to complete the integration, the error 'Something wrong, try again later' may be prompted.

The reason is that there is no Business Unit (BU) set as default.

Follow the below steps to set the respective BU as default.

Step 1: Switch to the Company page (select the icon below, on the top right of the FortiCASB portal).

Step 2: Select the ‘Set as Default’ for the respective BU that will be using the Administrative Unit integration.

Step 3: Select ‘Go to this BU’.

Select 'Go to this BU'.

Step 4: Proceed to complete the Microsoft Entra ID Administrative Unit integration again
