This article describes what actions are required if a custom certificate expires.

FortiWeb Cloud.
Solution
If an existing application certificate is about to expire and the user has already uploaded a new certificate, FortiWeb do not replace the new certificate with old certificate automatically.
The administrator has to delete the old certificate once it expires. The new certificate will take the role.
