The key to beating Hoolay lies in your team composition. You’ll need Hunt March 7th, a trial character provided for this fight. But she’s not enough on her own.
Hoolay hits hard and fast, targeting one character while dealing AoE damage. Your usual healers might not cut it. The boss also has a tricky mechanic called Lupine Chase Calls Bloody Gleam. When he’s in this state, your attacks give him Irate stacks. Let those build up, and you’re in for a world of hurt.
So, what’s the game plan? Follow-Up Attack (FUA) is your best friend here. Forget about your usual DPS characters. Clara or Dr. Ratio are your go-to options. They’ll keep those Irate stacks in check.
For your team, think shield and support. Aventurine’s team-wide shield can be a lifesaver. If you’re using Blade, pair him with Luocha for some extra healing. Harmony units like Robin, Sparkle, or even Bronya can give you the edge you need.
