How to edit multiple policies using the new policy layout

This article describes how to edit Multiple policies using the policy layout starting from v7.4.

Scope

FortiGate v7.4.0.

Solution

Starting from v7.4.0, the Firewall policy view has the option to switch from the classic layout to the new layout.

The new layout enables selecting multiple firewall policies and editing the below options for all selected policies.

The new layout enables selecting multiple firewall policies and editing the below options for all selected policies.

  1. Status (Enable/Disable).
  2. Change source or destination (Remove/Add). This will edit and set the same source or destination address for all selected policies.
  3. Change Security Profiles.
  4. Delete.
