First things first, equip your prime attacker with the Sylphid Boomerang to exploit Mantis Ant’s weakness to Strike and Wind attacks. Careena with the Dancer class is your best bet, but Rune Knight Val can also get the job done. Make sure Careena learns Cyclone and Defenseless from her Elemental Plot for maximum impact.
During the battle, keep these key strategies in mind:
- Stay behind Mantis Ant to avoid its poisonous spit and regular slashes.
- When it starts jumping, run like the wind to dodge the impact.
