How to change the background of photos with Adobe Firefly

  1. Open the Generative Fill function within the Firefly web app.
  2. Upload an image or choose a sample from the Firefly gallery. Upload an image or choose a sample from the Firefly gallery.

  4. Enter a detailed description and click Generate. If you leave the description field empty, the filled area will adapt to the surroundings. You can also utilize the Settings icon to adjust the following settings:
    • Match shape determines how closely the generated image matches your selection’s shape.
    • Preserve content allows you to control the amount of original content retained in the image.
    • Guidance strength lets you specify how closely the generated content adheres to your prompt.
  5. Select an image from the generated results or click More to generate additional variations. Select an image from the generated results or click More to generate additional variations.
  6. Choose Keep to proceed with the selected image or Cancel to discard the generated variations. Once the image is ready, you can edit, share, or download it as needed.
