Money’s your lifeline in Brighter Shores. You’ll need it for weapons, gear, and the supplies that keep you alive and advancing. Early on, though, cash can be tough to come by. But there’s a little trick that helps get you set up fast with enough currency to start exploring comfortably. Here’s what you need to know.
Using the Brighter Shores Infinite Money Trick
- Follow the main story until you hit the quest to rescue three soldiers after a goblin attack. This is where things start getting interesting.
- Head to the Training Grounds, then find the Barracks in the bottom left corner. Inside, there are three guards and—wait for it—nine chests ready to be looted.
- Loot all the chests, then pause for about two seconds. Once you do, the chests reset. Loot them again! You can keep doing this as much as you like, but don’t leave the area, or the loot will stop respawning.
This trick’s a game-changer for getting early funds. The downside? Since you’re still at a low level, the loot mostly consists of copper. It won’t make you rich, but it’s enough to ease the cash strain in the beginning.
Developers might patch this, or maybe they won’t. Either way, this glitch isn’t something you can come back to once you make progress in the main quest. So, take advantage of it while you’re early in the game.
If you want a head start, use this little loophole before diving deeper into Brighter Shores.
