Struggling with Lent and Overkill Achievements? Here’s a Simple Guide to Help You Succeed!
Unlock the Lent Achievement
This one’s tricky. You can mess it up without even realizing it. Keep this in mind every second you play.
Soup is your friend: Eating from soup pots is okay. Even the red, meaty-looking soup doesn’t count as meat. Weird, right? But it works.
Animals won’t hurt you: Most animals in the game are chill. Wolves are the exception—they’ll attack, but you can knock them out with your fists. No weapons, no problem for the Lent achievement.
Worried about messing up? Check your progress:
Go to Player > Statistics > General > Meat Eaten.
Then, Player > Statistics > Combat > Animals Killed.
Both counters must stay at “0” until the story ends. If either goes up, reload your last save and try again.
Unlock the Overkill Achievement
This one’s a bit of a contradiction to Lent. You need to kill a rabbit with a firearm.
Here’s how to do it without ruining your Lent progress:
- Finish the game first and get Lent out of the way.
- Alternatively, make a manual save before attempting Overkill. Afterward, reload that save and continue playing as if nothing happened.
Here’s what to do:
- Buy a firearm or grab one during Main Quest 11: The Finger of God.
- Head to a forest during daylight hours.
- Sneak around quietly—rabbits spook easily.
- Line up your shot and take down one rabbit. Just one is enough!
Quick Tips for Success
- Always double-check your stats if you’re unsure about Lent progress.
- Plan ahead: Save manually before trying anything risky.
- Be patient—both achievements require focus and careful tracking.
Getting these achievements feels like threading a needle, but with some planning and attention, you’ll nail it!
