Struggling to Trade in Roblox? Here’s Your Easy Guide to Success
Trading in Roblox can feel like swapping baseball cards with friends—fun, but you’ve got to know the rules. Here’s how you can get started and make the most out of it.
Step 1: Get Premium
Trading isn’t free. You need a Roblox Premium subscription to unlock trading.
If you don’t have it, tap the three lines in the top-left corner of your screen. Look for an option that says “Get Premium” and subscribe.
Already a premium member? Great! You’re ready to roll.
- Once you’ve got Premium, go back to the menu (three lines).
- Tap “Trade” to open the trade hub. Here, you’ll see:
- Inbound Trades: Offers sent to you.
- Outbound Trades: Offers you’ve sent.
- Completed Trades: Successful swaps.
- Inactive Trades: Expired or canceled deals.
Step 3: Find Someone to Trade With
Got an item in mind? Head over to the Marketplace and search for it.
Example: Let’s say you want the Ember Gwiya. Type its name into the search bar.
Step 4: Locate Resellers
Scroll down when you find your item. Look for resellers, users who own and are selling it.
Pick a reseller’s profile, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and select “Trade Items.”
Step 5: Build Your Offer
In their inventory, choose the item(s) you want from them.
Add items or currency (Roo) from your own inventory to make your offer more appealing.
Example: If all you have is one item, throw in some Roo as a sweetener.
Step 6: Send Your Trade Request
Once satisfied with your offer, tap “Make Offer” and then hit “Send.”
Now it’s up to them—they can accept or decline your trade.
Tips for Better Trades
- Be realistic about value—don’t expect someone to trade a rare item for junk.
- Keep an eye on completed trades in your menu to learn what works.
- Patience is key; not every request will get accepted.
Trading in Roblox is like bargaining at a flea market—practice makes perfect. Start small, learn as you go, and soon you’ll be trading like a pro!
