How Do You Lime Fields to Boost Crops in Farming Simulator 25?

Lime is your best buddy when it comes to healthier crops. Let’s tackle the steps. It’s simple once you get the hang of it.

How Do You Lime Fields to Boost Crops in Farming Simulator 25?

  1. Ever check the map in the game? Hit the Escape key.
  2. You’ll see a page with a bunch of tabs. Scroll until you land on “Soil Composition.”
  3. Notice any fields marked “Needs Lime.”
  4. Okay, so now you need the tools. Hit P for the store.
  5. Scroll down to Vehicles.
  6. Head over to Yield Improvements.
  7. Tap on Fertilizer Spreaders. Only one of these babies handles lime. You’ll know it by the little lime icon.
  8. Extensions? Think of them like bigger backpacks. They let you carry more lime, so fewer trips. Nice, right? Add a spreading disc if you want to cover more ground. Makes the job faster. I max mine out because time is money.
  9. After buying it, where does it go? Look on the map for a basket icon. That’s where your stuff’s delivered. Drive over, hook up the spreader to your tractor, and grab some lime while you’re there. Lime is under Consumables in the store menu. Buy plenty. Better too much than not enough.
  10. Hook it up by backing your tractor into the spreader. Press Q to attach. Then, press R to load it with lime. Check the right side of your screen—see the percentage fill? You’re good when it’s full.
  11. Ready to lime? Head to your field. Press X to unfold the spreader. Use B to turn it on.
  12. Start driving. Watch as the lime spreads out. Move over to catch any missed spots. You’ll see the change on your map in real-time.
  13. Once done, press B to turn off the spreader and X to fold it up.

Hate doing it yourself? Hire an AI worker. They’re slow but get the job done while you handle other things. Just keep an eye on their work to make sure they don’t waste lime.

That’s it. Soil refreshed. Crops ready to thrive.
