Step 1: Gear Up and Get Ready
First, grab your light and get your MP5 ready. There’s a big, nasty monster lurking around. It’s better to just run past him. Fighting him now not a good idea. We’re not equipped for that yet.
Step 2: Sprint Past Danger
When you enter the cave, just keep running. Don’t look back! No matter how close that monster feels, keep your feet moving. You’ll want to get past him without engaging. Your goal is to reach the area where the artifact is hidden.
Step 3: Scan for Anomalies
Once you’re in the clear, whip out your scanner. This is where the fun begins! Move around and watch for the scanner to start beeping faster. That’s your cue that you’re getting close to an anomaly. Follow that signal!
Step 4: Use Bolts to Find Anomalies
Toss some bolts into the lava. If anomalies are nearby, they’ll reveal themselves. Just avoid stepping into the lava. If you can’t see anything from where you are, try jumping over and checking from a different angle.
Step 5: Find the Artifact
After some searching, you should spot the anomaly. It might take a little patience, but keep looking up and around until it pops up. Once you find it, just hit ‘F’ to collect it. Congratulations! You’ve got yourself a mold anomaly.
