Solution 1: Clear local Xbox 360 storage
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Click on Settings in Profile & system section.
- Go to Storage devices. Click on “Clear local Xbox 360 storage“.
- Your console will restart.
- It will ask you to select load, local, or online. Select whichever option, it doesn’t matter.
Solution 2: Make sure your Xbox is up-to-date
- Press Xbox Guide button.
- Click on Settings in Profile & system section.
- Click on System.
- Click on “Updates” and make sure it is up-to-date. If it is not, then update it.
Solution 3: Clear Starfield Shattered Space cache files
- Press Xbox Guide button.
- Click on “My games & apps” and then click on “See all“.
- Look for Starfield Shattered Space game and highlight it.
- Then press Menu and select Manage and add-ons.
- Click on Saved data > Reserved space.
- And then click on “CLEAR RESERVED SPACE“.
You will see that Profile is deleted automatically, if not then delete profile. Make sure you click “Delete from console” when deleting.
Solution 4: Clear persistent storage
- Press Xbox Guide button.
- Click on Settings in Profile & system section.
- Go to Devices & connections > Blu-ray.
- Click on Persistent storage and then click “Clear persistent storage“.
Solution 5: Clear alternate MAC address
- Press Xbox Guide button.
- Click on Settings in Profile & system section.
- Go to General > Network settings.
- Navigate to Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address.
- And then click on “CLEAR” and then Restart your console.
Solution 6: Remove and re-add account
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Click on Settings in Profile & system section.
- Go to Account > Remove accounts.
- Select the account that you want to remove (select the account in which you are having issue) and then select Remove.
- Now, add your account.
After adding your account, launch Starfield Shattered Space and see if your problem is solved or not.
Solution 7: Run Starfield Shattered Space from Store instead of running the game from Xbox home
- To do this, type “Starfield Shattered Space” in the search bar and click on it.
- Then click on “LAUNCH GAME“.
Solution 8: Manually select port
- Press Xbox Guide button.
- Click on Settings in Profile & system section.
- Go to General tab, select Network settings > Test Network Connection > Advanced Settings.
- Select Alternate port selection, then click on Manual.
- Click on Select port and choose a port that starts with 4 or 5 > Continue.
- Restart your console and check if the problem is fixed or not.
- If not, then select the port one by one and check if it solves the problem or not.
Solution 9: Change DNS server
- Press Xbox Guide button.
- Click on Settings in Profile & system section.
- Go to General tab, select Network settings > Advanced Settings.
- Go to DNS settings > Manual.
- Enter 8.8.8.8 for Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 for Secondary DNS. You can also use 1.1.1.1 for Primary DNS and 1.0.0.1 for Secondary DNS.
- Now, launch the game again and check.
Solution 10: Switch network connection
If you are using a wireless connection, then try using an Ethenet cable to access internet and check.
If you are using Wi-Fi, then try connecting to Mobile Hotspot.
Tip: If possible, then try to connect to different Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot and check.
Solution 11: Reinstall Starfield Shattered Space
- If nothing seems to work, then last solution is to uninstall Starfield Shattered Space from Xbox.
- Then fresh reinstall it.
- Now, launch the game and check if it fixes your issue.
