Guide to Fish in Hades 2

Fishing in Hades 2 offers a tranquil respite from the game’s intense action. To begin your angling adventure, you’ll need to craft a fishing rod using two Fate Fabric and one Bronze at the Silver Pools in the Training Grounds.

Fate Fabric is purchased from the Wretched Broker, unlocked via an invocation at the Crossroad’s cauldron, and bought using bones. Bronze, however, is only obtainable from the surface using a pickaxe.

Reaching the surface requires meeting Hermes after reaching Oceanus in the dungeon. As Melinoe is cursed to remain underground, and the path to the surface is warded, two invocations must be completed: the Permeation of Witching-Wards and the Unraveling a Fateful Bond.

These recipes necessitate various ingredients, including Shadow, Ash, Psyche, Fate Fabric, Moly, Cinder, Lotuses, Moss, Nightshade, and Thalamus. Notably, Moss is exclusively found on the surface, requiring multiple attempts to gather sufficient quantities, while Thalamus is only obtainable using a spade in Primordial Chaos’ realm.

Once the fishing rod is crafted, you can fish in all locations except the surface ships, including Chaos' realm.
