Google Certified Educator Level 2: How To Hyperlink Text and Objects in Google Slides?

A school leader is creating an interactive Google Slides presentation that includes several multimedia resources. What are two ways the school leader can attach the resources to a presentation? (Choose two.)

To seamlessly attach multimedia resources to an interactive Google Slides presentation, the two correct methods are to use the insert menu to link text or objects and to right-click on highlighted text and select link.

Building an interactive presentation means giving your audience a way to click through to videos, websites, or external documents without disrupting the visual flow. Rather than pasting lengthy web addresses directly onto the slide, you can turn any word, image, or shape into a clickable button.

Highlight the specific text or click the exact object you want to use as your anchor. From there, you can either navigate to the top toolbar, open the Insert menu, and choose the Link option, or simply right-click the element and select Link from the drop-down menu. Paste your URL into the text box, hit apply, and the resource is immediately attached.

The other options listed do not serve this purpose. Navigating to the File menu to access Page Setup only alters the physical dimensions and aspect ratio of your slides. While add-ons from the extensions menu offer third-party features, they are not the standard, built-in tools for embedding resource links.
