How to Disable MacBook Trackpad when mouse is connected

OS X offers an option to ignore built-in trackpad when mouse / wireless trackpad is connected.

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click on Accessibility
  3. Click on Mouse & Trackpad on left panel
  4. Check on “Ignore built-in trackpad when mouse or wireless rackpad is present”
  5. Close Accessibility window.
