Leveling up in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is not easy, but it is possible. You will start at a higher level than the previous game, but reaching the cap will still be a challenge.
To level up quickly in FF7 Rebirth, you need to follow these tips:
Table of Contents
Do All the Quests and Side Quests
Quests and side quests are a great way to earn XP in FF7 Rebirth. You will get more XP from major events and boss fights. Side quests also give you other benefits, such as improving your relationships, playing minigames, and getting rewards.
These quests will boost your regular XP and your Party Level, which is harder to increase. They will also expand the story and the lore of the game. Plus, you will get different kinds of XP and unique equipment from them.
Use the Combat Simulator and Fight Every Battle
You can level up by fighting in the Combat Simulator. The XP you get may not be huge, but it is more than most normal fights. You can also get more XP by fighting Summon monsters, which are very powerful.
If you want to optimize your leveling, you should not avoid any fight. Even the weakest monsters can give you a good amount of XP, especially on Dynamic Difficulty, which adjusts the enemies to your level.
Fight Classified Enemies
You can unlock special fights by doing Combat Assignments under the World Intel category. These fights are against unique versions of monsters, called Classified enemies. For example, you can fight the Mind Flayer in Junon and the Quetzaquatl in the Grasslands.
You can fight Classified enemies multiple times, and get new rewards and more XP each time. You can also out-level them and make them easier to farm. To unlock a Classified enemy, you need to defeat all the Fiend Intel in a region. Fiend Intel is also a good source of XP.
Do All the World Intel Activities
World Intel activities are not only about combat. They also include things like finding Lifesprings, upgrading Summon material, and finding Protorelics. These activities may not give you a lot of character XP, but they often involve fighting monsters.
Lifesprings also trigger special Combat Assignments, where you fight a strong enemy that is unique to that region. These fights give you a lot of XP. Moreover, all the open-world activities give you Party XP, which is important for upgrading your Folios.
