Error message “Try that again. Something happened at our end. Waiting a bit might help” with error code 0x00001f4 show when accessing Microsoft Xbox Games Store from Xbox One.

Solution

This is caused by incomplete operating system update on the console. Perform soft factory reset to allow the console download the update for the operating system again. Soft factory reset will keeps your games and applications installed but will remove all accounts on the console.

Take note all the email addresses and passwords of sign-in accounts before proceed to execute soft factory reset.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings > All Settings > System > Console info & updates > Reset console.
On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps. option.
Xbox One console will start to erase the selected content and resetting itself to the default settings.
