Worried Adobe might be analyzing your files? Here’s what’s happening and how to control it.
Adobe’s Creative Cloud stores data on its servers, and while they don’t use your personal files to train AI models, there’s a catch: if you contribute to Adobe Stock, Adobe might use that content in AI training. Want to opt out? It’s quick and depends on your account type:

Steps to Stop Adobe’s Content Analysis
Personal Adobe Accounts
If you use a personal account, you have control over content analysis for product improvement. Here’s how to turn it off:
- Log in at https://account.adobe.com/privacy.
- Scroll to the Content Analysis for Product Improvement section.
- Flip the toggle to “Off.”
Note: If you’re a minor, you’re automatically opted out.
Business or School Accounts
If you use a business, school, or team account, Adobe opts you out by default. You won’t see the option to adjust this setting.
Important Points to Remember
- Opting Out Won’t Affect Features: Turning off content analysis doesn’t restrict your access to any Adobe features.
- Data Stored on Device-Only Files: Adobe only analyzes files stored in Creative Cloud, not those saved on your device.
Whether for peace of mind or full control over your creative data, Adobe gives options tailored to your account type.
