How to Fix VDI Show Unknown State Intermittently on VMware Horizon?

Problem

VDI machine’s view desktops is shown unknown or provisioned missing state on Horizon View administrators of VMware Horizon 7 version 7.4.x.

This problem caused by missing VcCache updates due to socket timeout not happening  then results in incorrect status in View Administrator page of VMware Horizon 7 version 7.4.x.

Workaround

Restart of the connection server services will bring the VM’s back to correct status.

Resolution

Fix is available in Horizon 7.5 version or contact VMware support to get hot patch with VMware Horizon 7.4 version.
